RSS Feed Aggregator
Some of us (me included) use RSS to keep up with pealing.com (and possibly other sites).
I have been using RSS readers on my phone, my tablet and my computer. This can be a little irritating when you swap device, articles I've read appear unread on the new device.
I've solved this by using "Tiny Tiny RSS" (TT-RSS) aggregator as a RSS Feed Syncroniser.
I've installed TT-RSS on my webserver, and created myself a normal user. Next I connected to TT-RSS from the client on my phone/tablet/computer. From there, I subscribed to the RSS feeds I'm interested in.
Now, using TT-RSS clients, feeds I've read, appear read whichever device I'm using.
There's also a web interface to TT-RSS, which is pretty good and allows you to do things like categorise/group feeds etc ..
If anyone else would like to try it, I can create you a user on my installation of TT-RSS - there are clients for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, Linux, Mac, Windows8 etc.. Firefox, and possibly other browsers can be used as clients.
The URL for the TT-RSS server is: http://tt-rss.pealing.com/ I've also created a user for you to play: username: testuser
password: T35tU53r
