The power goes off.
Te Anau goes to bed
pealing.nz No - must have a brew first & get water ready for first brew of morning :D
We are having a bit of a strange spring.
We are getting a lot of snow (we always get a little on the mountain tops, but it usually melts by the end of the day) - enough to hang around and cause avalanche risk on the Milford Road; the road has been close quite a bit and there was an avalanche two weeks ago. Whilst I was brewing up (outside as the stove is running on petrol) it was trying to snow on me - at only 200m. Bizarre.
And this is the first power outage we've had for several years, and the weather wasn't that severe - cold for the time of year, but not severe!
