I've been experimenting a bit with the good camera  I recently got. Here's a few examples.

Vivien and I are visiting Beth, Tom and the grandchildren in Manila. We have been so often that it seems there is nothing new to write about. However today we went to an art gallery that as the crow flies is only about 400 metres from there house, but since we cannot fly we had a 2 kilometer journey.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the gallery. It is a series of building of a Spanish colonial style housing a wide variety of art and set in striking gardens with a cafe for when you need a mental rest and sustainance.

It is hard to describe, look at the pictures.

Monday 22 May

We've been in UK a week. The first couple of days were spent getting used to time zones etc., then we went to Wales. The Tylers were having a meeting with Chris's solicitor. We then went back to Alex T's place before heading to Haverfordwest and St. Davids to see Chris.

Chris is doing well & enjoying his refurbished house, especially the "bar" with pool table & darts. We were up until about 01:30 playing pool and darts.

Sunday 12 March

Roo, Nicky and Caroline - sitting in a 'studio' in the Haast campsite. This is day one of our road trip up the West Coast with Caroline.

It's been unseasonally cold the last few days.

Douglas went to Queenstown for the weekend, and went up the mountain to Cardrona to play in the snow.

Hello folks this is the upgraded version of pealing.com. It should feel fairly familiar. There's still quite a lot to do, but it should be as functional as the previous version and I wanted to get it live so that it can be used again, having locked the old version from getting new posts. Some things are simplified and some work nicer. Images into fields (for the "More Pics" for instance) can be added by dragging and dropping into the field. The whole management of media (images, video etc) will be different.
