Currently most of my spare time (Whats that !) is being spent digging a big hole.
We had spoken to Ed (the drystone waller in the village) and had asked him if he could move the garden wall back for us to give us a paved area in front of the house.
He called round on Sunday afternoon to say that he could do it Thursday / Friday this week.
So I now have to complete the digging out by Wednesday pm to enable him to start work on Thursday. So I set to that evening and also did a couple of hours last night too.
This video article about local helicopter pilot is excellent
Hannibal's ability to spot things from the air is amazing too, & he often resolves searches before they really get going properly by spotting the missing person himself.
Any one use RSS?
I do, and I think Robert does.
This provides and alternative way of getting a notification when something new is posted on the website, rather than the email that gets sent out when someone posts something new.
(BTW, if you want to be excluded from the email notifications, let me know)
Douglas is singularly failing to get anything up here about his trip to Great Barrier, so here is an article that was published in the Fiordland Advocate:
The revised pealing.com website (this one) is now live. There is still some work to do to make it look nice, but it's fairly functional as it stands. It is a "responsive" design, so it adjusts to the type of device you are accessing it from - it's been tested on Android phone, iPhone, Palm Pre, and a (small) selection of tablets, as well as normal computer browsers. Adding videos at the moment is a question of pasting the embed code you get from YouTube. I'll try to impove this.
